Breaking Barriers
WLG Founders recognized that the unique professional development and networking needs of women leaders in local government were not being met through the existing local government associations.
The focus of Georgia WLG is to appeal to the unique skills and challenges that women bring to and face in the profession and deliver high-quality, distinctive, and impactful events.
Our Mission
The mission of the Women Leading Government Georgia Chapter is to encourage women to pursue careers in public service and offer opportunities for professional development through networking, mentoring, and education.
For the coming year, Georgia WLG will continue to:
offer our members professional development and networking opportunities;
sponsor sessions at other local government conferences to highlight women in leadership positions;
and host luncheons and networking events.
