About Us

Women Leading Government founders recognize that the unique professional development and networking needs of women leaders in local government were not being met through the existing local government associations.

The vision of Maine Women Leading Government is to close the gender gap in public-sector leadership positions by fostering key opportunities and providing meaningful education for female leaders.
