The purpose of the Texas Women Leading Government - Gulf Coast Chapter is to empower women to succeed in public service through mentoring and professional development, provide programs and development opportunities to the region and to represent the Chapter and its ideas to the Texas Women Leading Government Board.

The Chapter meets in January for the annual leadership conference and in the spring and fall, as well as holding several networking events throughout the year and sharing information on career and development opportunities.
